Youth Skills Clinics

Facilitated by University of Guelph Coaches, Skills Clinics provide continuing opportunities to develop high-level skills in a particular sport (limited sports offered). Clinics will be posted regularly as sessions become available throughout the year.  For more information, please contact the appropriate Coach.

Coming Soon - Our Men's & Women's Varsity coaches will be offering half-day training clinics for specific ages and skills. These will be offered the weeks of August 12th & August 19th.

Gryphon Football Prospects Day (2024 & 2025)

Birth Years: 2002-2006 - This event runs 12-4:30pm providing prospective football student athletes the opportunity to demonstrate movement and football related skills in a non-padded environment. What to Bring: Cleats, running shoes, and workout attire. This is a non-padded event. Participants will receive: Gryphon Football t-shirt, combine assessment, event video and outstanding instruction from coaching staff and players.

Women's Side-by-Side Elite Basketball Clinic - Spring 23

Interested in playing post-secondary basketball or developing your skills to be the best you can be? Here is an incredible opportunity for female-identifying young women to participate in an instructional clinic where you will be shoulder to shoulder with Nationally-ranked Gryphon Women's Varsity Basketball players in their individual Out-of-Season development and training. Participate in the same drills at the same baskets simultaneously as members of the Gryphon's Women's Team work to improve their skills. Instruction and feedback provided by Head Coach, Megan Reid and other members of the Varsity Women's Basketball Team. Each week offers one-hour focused on individual skill development and small side games.  These sessions are designed to target individual areas of growth and development as well as build a better understanding of tactical and technical concepts of the game. This clinic aims to: Develop individual Biomechanics to improve speed & efficiency in the game while developing connections with Varsity Women's Basketball players to promote a better understanding of what it takes to play post-secondary basketball.
