Quadball is a full-contact, co-ed sport adapted from the Harry Potter series. This emerging sport is played in more than 20 countries around the world and combines elements of rugby, handball, dodgeball, and wrestling. With four distinct positions and as many as five balls in play at once, quadball is both mentally and athletically demanding - far from “a bunch of nerds running around on brooms.” As a part of the team, you will participate in tournaments across Canada and the United States at a highly competitive level. Guelph Quadball is well known for being one of the best teams in Canada, winning the 2018 National Tournament and the 2019 Regionals Tournament. For those who would like a more relaxed introduction to quadball, we also offer a recreational league open to all levels of athletic experience and ability.
*All clubs memberships require a prerequisite base athletics membership. Currently enrolled, on-campus students already have this prerequisite membership during the Fall and Winter semesters. For all other community participants and students attending classes in the summer months, a monthly base membership is required for purchase before enrolling into a club*
Practice times are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Times will vary, but a schedule is provided.
