March Break Activity Camp

Gryphon March Break Activity Camp offers children a unique camp experience housed at the Department of Athletics on the beautiful University of Guelph Campus. Our program is organized and implemented with the same mindset that we use in our successful summer camp programs. The camp will emphasize fun in a safe and friendly environment, combining educational activities with recreational sports, indoor and outdoor activities, crafts, team challenges, Fun Friday Finale, and other special events and themes. Campers will be divided into groups throughout the week to ensure all activities and abilities are at an age appropriate level as campers model the "I AM A GRYPHON" motto.

Fall Kids Programming Registration will open Aug 19, 2024 @ 6:30am.  Program details viewable below.

Winter Kids Programming Registration will open Nov 25/24 @ 6:30am.  Program details viewable below subject to change prior to Nov. 1st.

Below Activities require registration & fees apply.  Recreation Membership is not a pre-requisite to enroll in Kids Programming.

1. March Break Gryphons Camp | Ages 5-7

Drop Off: 8:00am-8:45am
Program: 8:45am-4:00pm
Pick Up: 4:00pm-4:30pm
 
Summer Camp in March!!! It's the best time of the year to come together for a little summer camp fun. We will have themes, crafts, games (indoor and outdoor), and group challenges. Campers will have the opportunity to dress up in something fun for Whimsical Wednesday and then dress up for our theme day on Fun Friday!!
 
Get ready! Camp has lots of fun surprises and opportunities to try new activities, all while making great friendships.

March Break Activity Camp

This program is designed and implemented with the same mindset that we use for our successful summer camp programs.  This exciting week-long program will keep campers engaged with fun crafts, games and activities all tied to the camp theme.  

Indoor Activities

Campers will break out into smaller groups to discover unique games with their counsellors.  

Crafts

Campers will explore their creativity through crafts designed at an age appropriate level that are tied to the theme of camp. 

Outdoor Adventures

Campers will get outdoors for some fresh air to enjoy activities in the snow (weather-permitting).   

Theme Days

Throughout the week, activities will be tied to the camp theme.  In the past we have participated in Crazy Socks Day, Wacky Hair Day & Backwards Day, with a Friday Finale to end the week.  

Special Activities

Get ready for surprise activities based on the camp theme, maybe a nerf battle or Rock Climbing??  Who knows, maybe a special guest will visit us. 

Swimming

Senior Activity Camp will include a recreational swim giving campers the opportunity to play with water toys and water games with counsellors (swimming not included in Intermediate Camp).  Campers wishing to swim will be required to take a swim test on the first day of camp. We will have activities for those campers that don't wish to swim.
