Recess Leagues are open to UofG Staff & Faculty only. This non-progressive league typically plays games weekly during lunchtime, providing a great mental wellness break in the middle of the workday!

League & Membership Details

What to Expect:

Available to UofG staff and faculty only.
A great mental wellness break in the middle of the workday.
Recess League fee applies.
Games take place within the Athletics facilities.
Games are scheduled during lunch hour.
Games are played once a week.
Committing to attending every week is not necessary as this is a non-progressive league.
No experience required.

Pickleball:

Game times are 12:00pm-12:30pm or 12:30pm-1:00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced leagues are available.
Nets will be set up and paddles provided. Participants are welcome to bring their own pickleball paddle.
Eye protection is not provided. Participants are welcome and encouraged to bring their own eye protection.
Cost: $30 for 6 guaranteed games.

Fall Session 1: Sep 17, 2025 to Oct 23, 2025:

Intermediate | Register Here

If you've got the basics down and are ready for slightly faster rallies and more consistent play, this division is for you. It's still social, but with a touch more challenge.

This division is built for players looking for a higher level of play — sharp rallies, smart strategy, and intensity — all while keeping the league fun and spirited.
