Staff Recess League

What to Expect: 

• Available to U of G staff and faculty only.
• A great mental wellness break in the middle of the workday.
• Recess League fee applies.
• Games take place within the Athletics facilities.
• Games are scheduled during lunch hour.
• Games are played once a week.
• Committing to attending every week is not necessary as this is a non-progressive league.
• No experience required.

Pickleball: 

• Game times are 12:00pm-12:30pm or 12:30pm-1:00pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
• Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced leagues are available.
• Nets will be set up and paddles provided.  Participants are welcome to bring their own pickleball paddle.
• Eye protection is not provided.  Participants are welcome and encouraged to bring their own eye protection.
• Cost: $30 for 6 guaranteed games. 

Spring Session: May 13, 2026 to June 25, 2026:

Registration opens March 17, 2026 at 6:30am.

If you've got the basics down and are ready for slightly faster rallies and more consistent play, this division is for you. It's still social, but with a touch more challenge.
