Members of the Cycling Club at a trail.
The purpose of the club is to provide the cycling community of the University of Guelph with a way to connect and improve their skills. There are many kinds of cycling and riders from all disciplines are encouraged to join. The weekly rides will alternate between disciplines and allow riders to practice their skills and learn new trails/routes in Guelph. Additionally, this is a great way to meet new people with similar interests and build a further sense of community :)
We ride weekly on Wednesday nights and twice a month on the weekends. Rides are a mix of gravel, road, and mountain bikes. Practice information will be sent out at the start of each month and updates will be posted on our Instagram (@uogcycling). All skill levels are welcome!
We will also host challenges to showcase all the riding Guelph has to offer!
Please reach out to us if you have any questions!
There is a $15 fee per year.
*All clubs memberships require a prerequisite base athletics membership. Currently enrolled, on-campus students already have this prerequisite membership during the Fall and Winter semesters. For all other community participants and students attending classes in the summer months, a monthly base membership is required for purchase before enrolling into a club.*
