Kids Dance

We offer a range of Kids Dance Programming that may include Ballet and Dance Fusion (offered in Winter). These multi-week programs are a great opportunity for physical activity with focus placed on strengthening skills to ensure all participants are challenged. As participants' skills improve in this fun environment, they will begin to recognize their own personal growth as they work through weekly goals.

Below Activities require registration & fees apply. Recreation Membership is not a pre-requisite to enroll in Kids Programming.

Ballet Beginner | Ages 4-6

A fun introductory class for children without a dance background. Children will enjoy learning the basic elements of ballet technique, including the position of arms, feet and body alignment, all with the focus of having fun. Participants should wear comfortable clothing. Bare feet or ballet shoes are appropriate.

Dance Fusion | Ages 4-6

Modeled after our Discover Dance Camp, this class will give children exposure to a variety of styles of dance from hip hop to contemporary to musical theatre! Participants will learn technique and choreography with an emphasis on having fun, all dancers welcome! Participants should wear comfortable clothing, bare-feet or shoes are appropriate. *Registration ends 2 days prior to the start date.
