G.R.O.W.T.H. PROGRAM | Ages 10-13

‘Girls Respecting Others With Teamwork & Heart’. This program introduces campers, who identify as female, to strategies for overcoming challenges they may face during these unique ages and explore who they are as individuals. Participants will have the opportunity to develop and strengthen positive self-esteem, self-expression, challenge themselves, acquire skills, develop a healthy & active lifestyle, and create a sense of community. Campers will have recreational swimming opportunities three times throughout the week In addition to the G.R.O.W.T.H. camp specific programming, campers will participate in general activities that connect to our weekly camp theme. Theme: Gryphon Olympics This week is the kickoff to the Summer Olympics in Paris, France. So, we’re going to have our own Gryphon Olympics These will not be your usual Olympic sports, as we’ll be putting our Gryphon “twist” on our events!

This week includes a visit to the Honey Bee Research Centre at the University of Guelph In addition to the G.R.O.W.T.H. camp specific programming, campers will participate in general activities that connect to our weekly camp theme. Theme: Animal Planet Animals can be amazing and this week campers will have fun being animals, zookeepers or imagining that they work for a wildlife magazine or tv show. It will be adventure after adventure as we explore animals from around the world!
