Campers will enjoy the fun and adventure from our traditional Activity Camp activities combined with daily learn to swim lessons. Each day participants will spend 90-minutes in the water in small group classes led by certified swim instructors. These instructors will lead campers through water safety skills and swim basics with the goal of attempting the Lifesaving Society's Swim To Survive Challenge (Roll/Tread/Swim). The Water Safety theme will be carried out through the remainder of the week through activities, games and crafts. Through creative programming, campers will have the opportunity to gain self-confidence, independence and new skills all while building new friendships.
This camp is designed for individuals at varying levels, from little to no previous swim experience. On the first day, swim instructors will determine each campers skill level in order to place them in the appropriate skill group. Throughout the week, the program will focus on the progression of each individual camper.
