Dragon boat is a team sport where 20 people, as well as a steersperson and drummer, paddle in sync and race against other boats. The races that take place are called regattas. This summer the University of Guelph Dragon Boat Club competed in two regattas and have two more to go! At their regatta in Milton, they overtook several boats in the 2000m race. With a time just under 13 minutes, UGDBC placed 3rd in their division—earning a bronze medal.
