Starting Thursday Feb. 17th the Province of Ontario has lifted capacity restrictions for high risk, indoor settings. Here is how it will affect your favourite program and spaces in Gryphon Athletics & Recreation facilities. Wearing of a face mask and proof of vaccination at point of entry is still required.
NRG Fitness Classes
Our highly in-demand NRG fitness classes will now have more room for you! So come on out and try a class. Pre-booking is no longer required as of Tuesday Feb. 22nd.
Lane/Rec Swims
Lane and Rec swims will no longer be required to be pre-booked. Swimmers are asked to keep belongings in the changeroom and swim in the lane best suited to their speed.
Fitness Centre
We will be open to full capacity and you will no longer be required to swipe out upon leaving.
Climbing Wall
The climbing wall will still require pre-booking, but will increase to a limit of 20.
Masking, Hand Hygiene and Distancing
Wearing of a face mask and proof of vaccination at point of entry is still required. Please continue to maintain proper hand washing hygiene and maintain physical distance when possible.
If you have finished 5 days of isolation and are returning to physical activity you must continue to wear a well-fitted medical mask in public for an additional 5 days after leaving isolation. If you are working out in the gym, playing team sports or participating in recreation or class, continue to wear a medical mask for an additional 5 days to avoid transmitting COVID-19 to others.
