Congratulations to Sabrina Berardi for being named our 2023 Gryphon Greatness winner for September 2023.
Sabrina Berardi went above and beyond for the month of September. Sabrina took the lead on creating and executing our event staff training. We have approx. 60 new members within our events team, and they learned everything there is to know about each sport. Sabrina led the training session and continues to lead and train staff when on shift.
Sabrina has also played a pivotal role in the execution of all our home football games thus far and was able to adapt on the fly when situations arose. Through effective communication and prioritization, Sabrina was able to ensure that all our needs of the game were met. She picked up shifts for other Game Day Managers, she has worked all home Rugby games and has communicated with both staff and spectators to ensure our new ticketing policy is effective.
Fryday Night Lights is one of the biggest events of the year, and with 2500+ spectators in attendance at the during the first week, Sabrina was able to help manage the crowd and work with other staff to ensure the safety of all in attendance. After the first game, Sabrina and some other Game Day Managers met with me to discuss some ways we can improve with regards to the flow of the event and ways mitigating any risks for future events.
Sabrina has demonstrated every guiding principle within the Gryphon Way. She is a true Gryphon!
