Tap Pak

Description

The Guelph Tap Pak is a team of passionate and skilled tap dancers who proudly represent the University of Guelph at university-level competitions each year. Founded in 2016 by a group of dancers who missed performing on stage, Tap Pak has grown into a vibrant community of 35 talented students, each bringing years of tap experience and enthusiasm to the team. 
The team practices weekly throughout the school year in preparation for competitions held in March. We compete in three competitions annually, showcasing our love for tap dance. Tap Pak offers dancers the opportunity to continue training, perform at a competitive level, and connect with others who share the same passion.

Auditions

Auditions take place at the beginning of each new school year, during the month of September. Audition information is posted on our Instagram each year. Feel free to also reach out to Tap Pak Captains for more information.

Estimated Fees

Upon joining the team a club fee of $375 is required. This fee covers costumes and competition fees for the two routines you are required to be in when joining Tap Pak.

If you are interested in competing in more routines, additional fees will be required.

*All clubs memberships require a prerequisite base athletics membership.  Currently enrolled, on-campus students already have this prerequisite membership during the Fall and Winter semesters.  For all other community participants and students attending classes in the summer months, a monthly base membership is required for purchase before enrolling into a club.*
