Rules & Regulations for JOHNSTON GREEN Facility Use, violation of any of the below listed Rules & Regulations may result in loss of facility access privileges and/or immediate removal from facility.
*PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO POWER AT THIS FACILITY, ALL POWER MUST BE COORDIANTED BY THE USER.
*Any weather cancellations will be notified to the permit holder on the contract. If you would like someone else to be notified please inform our Fields Supervisor Cameron Lawrie at 519-824-4120x56140 or lawriec@uoguelph.ca
*Any cancellations based on weather that are not initiated from the university MUST be submitted to the facility booking office within 48 HOURS of the cancellation in order to possibly be reimbursed for time not used. Any submissions outside this time window will not receive the cost of rental back. Notification must be provided in writing to athfacility.booking@uoguelph.ca
1. Plastic Water Bottles containing WATER ONLY are allowed inside of the facility. Absolutely NO glass containers.
2. Clean athletic footwear with PLASTIC/RUBBER MOULDED CLEATS ONLY. Absolutely NO metal cleats or spikes are allowed on the field.
3. Absolutely NO ALCOHOL or TOBACCO products are allowed. U of G is proud to be a tobacco- and smoke-free environment. Smoking, vaping and the use of smokeless tobacco is not permitted on campus. www.uoguelph.ca/smokefree.
4. Bicycles, Skateboards or Motorized vehicles are NOT allowed on the Field.
5. Fireworks or other Explosive devices are NOT permitted.
6. NO LOITERING, please be respectful of others who will be accessing the facility immediately upon your rental completion.
7. Programming space is to be shared appropriately with all participants.
8. Athletic clothing appropriate to the activity must be worn.
9. Inappropriate behaviour such as swearing, physical or verbal abuse will not be tolerated and may result in loss of facility access privileges and/or immediate removal from facility.
10. Persons 15 years of age and under must be supervised by an adult at all times.
11. The permitted Facility will be inspected periodically throughout all rentals by an Athletics staff representative.
