Below Activities require registration & fees apply. Recreation Membership is not a pre-requisite to enroll in Kids Programming.
We are proud to be able to facilitate the SOS 4 Kids Home Alone Program for our Gryphon Camps Community. Our facilitators have taken the course and deliver the material in a way that is engaging for all participants and allows for flexible programming through experiential activities and games.
This 1-day workshop is designed to provide participants with the skills & knowledge to be safe when on they are on their own at home or elsewhere for short periods of time. The following seven modules will be delivered by trained program facilitators through a mix of in-class facilitation & interactive activities: Street Smarts, People Safety, Online Safety, At Home Safety, Fire Safety, Injury Prevention and First Aid.
Drop-off: 8-8:30am | Program runs: 8:30am-4:30pm | Pick-up: 4:30-5pm

My son loved it! He was super excited sharing what he learned. During Sunday dinner, my youngest was shaking his body while eating green peas and Davi said: "Stop! Choking hazard!"
