Gryphon Birthday Parties and group bonding programs

Celebrate with us by hosting your next birthday party or group bonding event with the Gryphons!  Our staff bring everyone together for laughter & fun with engaging activities based on your desired outcomes.  Our goal is to ensure a memorable experience for everyone!

Group Bonding

Are you looking for a fun way to bring your group together to celebrate or bond? We can host your group!  Choose from the birthday party styles that will be customized to fit your group needs. All programs are 2.5hrs in length. Please contact Kevin directly about date availability and pricing at lindner@uoguelph.ca

Birthday parties and Group Bonding programs are available from October - May.  Due to our extensive Summer Camp programming, WE DO NOT OFFER PARTIES IN June, July, and August.

General Birthday Party Details

• Parties must be booked at least ten days in advance of party date.
• Parties are 2hrs.30min. in length (2 hours of planned programming and 30 minutes in the birthday-themed party room. Note that the programming time may be divided into sessions to allow a mid-party break)
• All parties have a maximum capacity of 14 participants (including the birthday guest of honor).
• Every party participant must compete the University of Guelph waiver form. This will be emailed to those attending the party and must be submitted upon arrival to party.
• The birthday party guest of honor adults (hosts) must stay for the duration of the party. Others may stay if they wish, but we do encourage parents/guardians to give party guests the opportunity to enjoy the party on their own.  
• All guests will meet within the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre lobby (inside the Larry B. Pearson sliding door entrance across from the hockey arena).  Our Gryphon staff will greet everyone and bring them to the party room.  This will also be the location for pick up at the end of the party.
• The family hosting the birthday party and guest of honor are welcome to arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled party time in order to set up and meet Gryphon Party staff.
• A $75 non-refundable fee must be paid at the time of booking, with the remaining amount due prior to attending the party

Gryphon Camp Style Party (Ages 6-11) 

Cost of Party: $345.00 + HST

Time to experience a little bit of Gryphon Camps for a special birthday party. We will have fun being active through games and activities that will have everyone laughing, playing and enjoying time together. Activities will be based on a theme after you connect with our Gryphon staff. This enables the staff to know what the birthday guest enjoys and would like to do for the party. We will also have a creative and fun craft that will connect to the theme of the party. Supplies will be provided for all activities, including general birthday decorations in the party room.

Gryphon Indoor Climbing Wall Party (Ages 8-14) 

Cost of Party: $380.00 + HST

Take your birthday party to new heights as our staff facilitate 2hrs. of fun challenges & games on the climbing wall.  This adventure will be supervised by three Gryphon Climbing staff, providing a ratio of 1:4 to ensure guests are safe as they have the opportunity to go bouldering, climb on our Auto-Belays and experience top rope climbing, all belayed by our climbing staff.  All climbing harnesses and climbing shoes (based on size) are provided for party participants.  Supplies will be provided for all activities, including general birthday decorations in the party room.

Gryphon Nerf Action Party (Ages 8-11)

Cost of Party: $365.00 + HST

Is your birthday party looking for some fun and adventure? Love Nerf? This party allows for lots of creativity as guests strategize as a group to successfully complete challenges & games. Gryphon Party Staff will facilitate Nerf Shooting Challenges, Nerf Action Battles, along with fun camp style games. Supplies will be provided for all activities, including general birthday decorations in the party room.  Since we supply party guests with Nerf guns, darts and goggles, we ask that personal Nerf equipment is not brought to the party.
