B.E.A.T. PROGRAM

The B.E.A.T. Camp Program, formerly known as Boys Week Out, stands for 'Boys Engaging in Active Teamwork'. Unique Skills Activities

This program offers the opportunity for boys to explore who they are as individuals and leaders, allow them to see how they work with others in a group setting, tackle challenges together in a supportive and encouraging community, grow in their own self-development and self-esteem, and participate in a series of unique program opportunities.

Active Teamwork

Campers will participate in deliberately planned activities that include fitness opportunities outdoors, learning about healthy habits, art experiments, cooperative games and sports, outdoor activities, leader of the day programs, and daily reflections in your specific B.E.A.T. workbook.

Group Bonds & Friendships

Within the span of one week, participants in the B.E.A.T. program solidify friendships and mutual respect for each other. With campers having opportunities to be Leaders of the Day and the group working on fun challenges, there tends to be lots of laughter and fun energy amongst the group.

Group Challenges

During the B.E.A.T. Program, the campers will participate in several different challenges with group members. This will enable them to recognize their strengths and also reflect on how they assisted the team and celebrate the team successes.

Physical Activity

During the day, campers will have the opportunity to play in team sports or games. This will allow personal self-growth and understand how the skills of working in a team can translate to sports and into their daily lives.

Self-Reflections

At the end of each day, campers will have the opportunity to reflect on their day and the growth that they have had while at camp. These reflections will be active debriefs and will enable them to be creative in their reflection and personal growth.
